Course Description Electrocardiograph (ECG) Technician Develops skills in performing electrocardiographs used in physician's offices and hospitals. Teaches the student proper electrode placement, basic anatomy and physiology of the heart, measurement of time and voltage, PR intervals, QRS complex and arterial/ventricular rates. The student will also be able to identify the P, Q, R, S, T and U waves. Introduces the terminology and abbreviations used in this field. Hands-on experience in our own clinical setting.
